Context
During my summer photography internship, the creative team assigned me full responsibility for a “Founders Shoot” shoot. As a family-oriented company, they wanted imagery that reflected their values while feeling elevated and aspirational. I developed a concept inspired by royal family portraiture and Ralph Lauren campaigns, combining tradition with approachability.
Challenge
Plan and execute the entire shoot from start to finish, covering location, outfits, poses, lighting, equipment, and lenses. The final deliverables required three distinct treatments (color, black-and-white, and sepia), each maintaining the sophistication of the concept while aligning with the brand’s identity.
Solution
I coordinated every aspect of production to ensure a seamless, efficient shoot day for the busy shareholders and their families, as well as a cohesive visual outcome. Direction on set kept poses natural and refined, and lighting choices reinforced a timeless, bright feeling. In editing, I preserved the richness and warmth across all three versions, resulting in a set of images that matched both the aesthetic vision and the company’s family-focused message.

Shoot Planning
The creative team told me the shoot was completely my responsibility from concept to execution. I developed an idea that fit the brand’s family-oriented values and chose a royal family and Ralph Lauren inspired aesthetic. I planned every detail from location and outfits to poses, lighting, equipment, and lenses so the vision was fully formed before we picked up a camera.

Photography
On set, I directed positioning and pose to match the elegant and timeless feel we wanted. I adjusted lighting and framing throughout the day to make sure each shot translated the inspiration into something approachable for the brand’s audience.

Editing
Post-production required delivering three distinct versions of each image in color, black-and-white, and sepia. I refined tone and composition in each to preserve the sophistication of the concept while keeping the warmth that connected to the company’s family roots.
